MULTI-TOOL TOOLHEAD The Multi-tool toolhead incorporates a unique Z axis slide, which allows the use of a wide range of tools. The stepper motor driven slide has a variable stroke of 0-10mm, which provides ultimate control over plunge speed and depth. Additionally, the Z axis floats and has adjustable down-force from 50 to 1000g (2 to 35oz). This rather unique design offers unprecedented flexibility, and is suitable for soft-touch tools such as paintbrushes and maker pens, through to hard-touch tools such as knifes and scorers.
Included Multi-tool tools and accessories
Rotary tool – for light drilling and engraving (0-18000rpm NLS)
Plotting knife – for cutting paper stock, adhesives and spray masks
Scoring tool – for creasing paper stock or scoring glass
Dispenser – for dispensing pastes such as icing or glue
Hot knife – for cutting Styrofoam
Pick & place tool – for precisely placing small items
Marker Pen set – for drawing
Please note some tools require a regulated compressed air supply – not included.
AIRBRUSH TOOLHEAD The Airbrush toolhead is a unique graphic paint application device. Similar to handheld airbrushes, compressed air is used to expel paint from the tip of the airbrush. Airflow is activated automatically, and paint flow is controlled with precision via an onboard stepper motor. This provides ultimate control over paint density stroke by stroke. Tooli supports multicolor artworks by automatically pausing when it’s time to change color. The non-contact nature of the airbrush allows you to paint on a wide variety of medium including cloth and uneven surfaces. You can even use the multifunctional ability of Tooli to cut masks for even greater versatility when producing works of art.
Included Airbrush tools and accessories
Airbrush tool – with magnetic mounts for quick release
Air Valve – with push-in connectors
Air Hose – with airflow adjuster and quick release connector
Please note the airbrush requires a regulated compressed air supply – not included.

Tooli is super-easy to use, here's why...
At Toolbotics we believe CNC technology should be easy to use and available to everyone. Our intuitive graphical user interface app makes using Tooli super easy, and together with our Art2Gcode software offers a total package that everyone can use. All Tooli software runs on both Windows and Mac operating systems.
Easy toolhead change
To allow toolheads to be quickly and easily swapped out we needed a reliable efficient solution. After several design concepts and prototypes we developed a simple dove-tail slide made of precision machine aluminum components. This design allows tool-heads to be accurately and firmly held in place, and provides manual height adjustment with a stroke of 75mm (3”).
Art2GCode Toolpath software
With Tooli having so many unique capabilities, software that can fully support Tooli just didn't exist. So we developed our own art to G-code software, aptly named Art2Gcode. This easy to use software supports all of Tooli’s capabilities and runs on both Windows and Mac operating systems. Simply create your artwork in your favorite graphics software, (Inkscape is a common choice and it’s free), and save it as an SVG for use in Art2Gcode. Art2gcode is hosted online - so you can use it anytime. Visit art2gcode.com to try it now.
